Casual Kitchenhand / Cashier

About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented barista/café assistant to join our team on a casual basis, working at the onsite café. This position is on an “as and when required” basis. There is no guarantee of regular hours; however, the successful applicant would need to be available to work on demand, including occasional weekends and shift work. Main duties include:
- Delivering fabulous service to our customers
- Making great coffee
- Basic food preparation, presentation and serving
- Customer payment transactions
- Taking customer orders and upselling products
- Assistance with corporate events as required
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the café and immediate environment
About the person
To be successful in this role you will be passionate about coffee, food and delivering great customer experiences. Along with previous experience in food and cash handling, a strong team focus, excellent communication skills and an uncompromising attitude to safety are a must.
