New Zealand Steel and Pacific Steel are excited to announce that applications are now open for our intake into our Graduate Program starting from January 2026!
New Zealand Steel, a wholly owned subsidiary of BlueScope, manufactures and markets a range of flat rolled steel products for the building, construction, manufacturing and agricultural sectors. You may know us for our flagship COLORSTEEL® brand.
Program Overview
Our New Professionals Program is designed for recent Engineering Graduates who are ready to launch their careers with meaningful responsibilities right from the start.
In this program, you’ll secure a permanent position accompanied by:

Our Recruitment Process
1.Application: Submit your application online by clicking the “Apply Now” button.
2.Pre-screen: Shortlisted candidates will complete a pre-recorded video interview online (and, for some roles, a psychometric test), allowing us to get to know you on your schedule.
3.Interview: Selected candidates will then be invited to attend a face-to-face interview where we can explore the opportunity together and address your questions.
4.Offer: We intend to start extending offers from July, with flexible start dates that work for you!
