About the Role

Our busy on-site cafeteria at NZ Steel in Glenbrook operates Monday to Friday 7am – 5pm and we’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, energetic hospitality star to join our hardworking team on a casual contract.

As a valued member of our small but mighty crew, you’ll be on your feet handling a variety of tasks — from food preparation and making barista coffee to stocking cabinets, serving customers, operating the till, and ensuring the kitchen stays clean, tidy, and running smoothly.

This is a casual, as-needed position. While we aim to give you advance notice for shift cover, we’re looking for someone flexible and reliable, who can be available on short notice to help cover shifts. 

Who we’re looking for:

Experience in hospitality is great, but what matters most is your positive attitude, willingness to learn, and flexibility. If you’re good at multitasking, love working with people, and don’t mind being on your feet, you’ll fit right in.
