About the role: 

Are you looking to take the next step in your career? We’re after a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter Welder to join our Finishing Plants Maintenance team based at NZ Steel in Glenbrook.  In this role you’ll be hands-on with plant and equipment maintenance, while developing valuable skills and experience that could support progression into a Technician role in the future.

What you’ll bring:

• Mechanical Trade Certificate Level 4 + welding experience
• Strong team player, also confident working independently
• Good communication and computer skills
• Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude
• Proven reliability and commitment to health & safety
