Four Cold Strip Mill Operators

New Zealand Steel, a wholly owned subsidiary of BlueScope, manufactures and markets a range of flat rolled steel products for the building, construction, manufacturing and agricultural sectors.  You may know us for our flagship COLORSTEEL® brand.

What you’ll be doing

We have four permanent opportunities for enthusiastic and reliable Operators to join our Cold Strip Mill team at NZ Steel, Glenbrook.

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining our high product standards and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll receive full training to safely operate plant and equipment within the Cold Mill area.

This role follows a 42-hour work week on a rotating 12-hour, 4-shift roster. From time to time, additional hours may be required to meet operational needs.
