What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with leaders to provide trusted, practical HR and ER advice
  • Lead complex ER matters including personal grievances, disciplinary processes, investigations, performance management, and change processes
  • Coach leaders through challenging people matters and build their confidence in managing people
  • Identify risks, provide clear recommendations, and support sound decision-making
  • Support restructures, organisational change, and wider business initiatives
  • Contribute to union engagement and collective bargaining activity
  • Share knowledge and help build consistency and capability across the HR team

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong HR and employment relations experience, with the ability to work independently
  • Sound knowledge of employment relations practice and employment law
  • Experience coaching leaders through complex and challenging people matters
  • Strong judgement, resilience, and a calm, practical approach
  • Experience working in a unionised environment, with exposure to collective bargaining
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build credibility with a wide range of stakeholders
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support and develop others

What We Offer

  • A supportive and experienced HR team
  • Interesting and varied HR and ER work across the business
  • The opportunity to influence leadership capability and people practices
  • A competitive salary package including medical insurance
  • Annual bonus scheme
  • An additional week of annual leave after three years’ continuous employment

If you’re an experienced HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, solving complex people matters, and making a practical difference, we’d love to hear from you.
