Logistics Coordinator & Administrator
Applications are sought for the position of Logistics Co-ordinator and Administrator in the Weighbridge Logistics Team. This position reports to the Logistics Supervisor.
The primary accountability of this position is to contribute to the successful dispatch and delivery of steel product, as well as, purchase orders and invoice processing.
The successful applicant will have:
an uncompromising attitude to safety
good reporting and analysis skills of despatching data and trends
excellent communication skills, both oral and written
knowledge of road distribution principles and capabilities
good decision-making and problem-solving skills
the ability to work in a strong team environment
Key Tasks include:
Collect and Collate despatch forecast information
Conduct relevant logistics and non-logistic audits
Liaise on a daily basis with distribution partners
Rail & Truck co-ordination
Analyse despatch and distribution data
Monitor day to day management of distribution performance
Process Logistic Claims and invoices to completion
Purchase and manage Logistic resources e.g. Stationary, Rail supplies
General Administration duties
- Notify distribution priorities
