Permanent Mobile Plant Operators

SteelServ is looking for motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Mobile Plant Operators in permanent full-time roles based at New Zealand Steel in Glenbrook.

SteelServ provides specialist transport and processing services to support New Zealand Steel’s operations.

About the Role

We have multiple permanent Mobile Plant Operator positions available, working 8-hour day shifts. You’ll be part of a dynamic team under the guidance of our Operations Management, where adaptability and responsiveness to customer needs are key.

Essential requirements:

• A current New Zealand driver’s license (Class 4 or 5)
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness and ability to multitask
• Proven good attendance and employment history

Desirable experience (not essential):

• Heavy Mobile Plant Operations – Loader / Excavator
• Truck Driving – Water Cart
• Forklift Operation

Previous experience operating a Loader, Excavator, or Water Cart will be highly regarded.
