Quality Technician - Product testing

About the role

We seek a motivated Quality Technician to join our busy Quality Assurance team based in Otahuhu, 259 James Fletcher Drive.

Working in the Quality Assurance Test Lab and reporting to the Test Technician Team Leader, you will be contributing towards ensuring our products and services meet the required standards. 

This role works on a rotating shift pattern of 5 days, 3 x 8-hour shifts per day, Monday to Friday and occasionally Saturday to meet the demands for testing. (This role is currently running on a 5-day, 2 x 8-hour shift pattern) 40-hour week.

About the person

• A team player with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude is key. 
• A meticulous quality and detail-orientated person.
• Working as part of a team will require excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• It is preferable that you have previous quality assurance experience with a good understanding of materials and testing methods.

What will you be doing

Key responsibilities include testing our products to ensure we meet the required standards, performing process and quality control, as well as provide testing service to the wire mill and external customers as required.

The successful applicant will undergo training in accordance to the training plan for Test Techs.
