Sales and Admin Support


We have an internal opportunity for a Sales and Admin Support person to join our team based at NZ Steel in Glenbrook. This role supports the accuracy and integrity of customer accounts and provides essential administrative and financial support across the business.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the timely processing and reconciliation of customer payments, rebates and credits, ensuring accounts are accurate and up to date. The role also provides back-up support for credit card management, manual payments, cash forecasting and general administration, working closely with Finance, Sales, Customer Services and Corporate Treasury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process daily accounts receivable transactions and reconcile customer payments
  • Monitor receivables, follow up overdue accounts and escalate where required
  • Prepare AR and ageing reports
  • Respond to customer queries and resolve billing issues
  • Support credit card management (CONCUR) and manual payment processing
  • Assist with cash forecasts and liaise with Corporate Treasury
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3 years’ experience in accounts receivable, billing or collections
  • Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Experience with SAP and/or D36 is preferred
